Half Way!

Well this is Michigan after all, and since its nearly impossible to get out and ride on the trails during the winter months, some people go to spinning classes, ride trainers or rollers, some turn to other fitness activities for a few months... and some just bundle up and endure! Turns out a little competition and some comraderie is the only motivation I need to get out and ride on dark winter nights and on cold winter weekend afternoons. Thanks to Robert and his Winter Ride Challenge Series for giving me the inspiration and motivation to get out and ride all winter.

Yesterday marked the halfway point in the series. 28 rides of 54 are in the books. Ive managed to get out to 24 of them, good for 5th place so far. Points are awarded based on the weather... the colder it is, the more points you get.
